The process applied to green coffee in order to develop its characteristic aroma and flavor. There are several types of toasting, of lower or higher final temperature: light or blond toast, medium or monk’s robe brown toast and dark toast which masks characteristics of a bad coffee, of dark brown or blackish colour.
